Our Covid 19 Policy:
Following the new government guidelines, masks are recommended/optional in OK Comics. Our mail order service continues for those who prefer not to enter the shop.
We always provide hand sanitizer at the door, please use this on arrival and when exiting the shop.
As OK Comics is private property, we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone.
Your Pull List:
Most of our customers regularly order comics for collection in store. To ensure that we can get hold of the comics that you need, please let us know well in advance. We place orders three months in advance, so the sooner you let us know, the more likely it is that we can get it for you.
All comic orders must be collected at least once a month. We will contact you if we notice you’ve fallen behind, we will also offer to mail these comics out to you. If we do not here from you within a month of us reaching out, we reserve the right to cancel your order. If you can’t make it in, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
If you need to return any goods you’ve bought in store, please bring the goods and your receipt of purchase. We can only accept returns on faulty items. We are happy to either exchange the goods for something of the same value or refund you using the method that you paid originally. We reserve the right to not accept returns that do not have proof of purchase from OK Comics.
Online Sale Items:
Any items listed as reduced on the OK Comics website are website exclusive, if you want to collect them in-store please select that option at checkout.
Postal Terms and Conditions
Shipping and Handling:
All items will be sent in a secure cardboard mailer. We bag all comics and books, to protect from any water damages. You can see examples of our packaging on our social media.
Postage charges are shown during the checkout stage, before any payment is taken. To see postage charges displayed in your shopping cart, go to the checkout, select your shipping destination, and click next. Your postage charges will now be shown. No payments are taken at this stage of the checkout process. You can keep browsing by clicking on ‘Return to Information’ and then ‘Return to Cart’.
Please note that our initial postage charges cover the first delivery attempt only, to the address provided to us at checkout. Any additional charges payable for the redelivery or redirection of a package requested by the customer, are the sole responsibility of the customer. It is the customers responsibility to ensure that we are given the correct delivery address, we cannot accept responsibility if the address you provided is incorrect. Claims for damage to any items contained in your order must be made within 7 days of receipt of order, and must be made in writing, by email to email@example.com.
For overseas orders, the postage charges shown at checkout are a best estimate. Most of the time these are correct, but we reserve the right to update these when the final cost of shipping has been calculated. We will email you first, if the postage payable is greater than what's been paid at checkout. Postage overseas is calculated to include insurance to the value of your order. This way, if there are any issues with delivery or damages, we can replace the items easily without massive costs. We will provide tracking details for all overseas orders.
Postage to Europe:
Since July 1st, the way that Europe deals with VAT has changed. We are still shipping orders under 2KG to European countries. Please note that there will be a customs charge (also referred to as a Handling Fee) when it arrives in your country, prior to delivering.
When we're better informed about the new rules, these things may change. We'll keep you informed as best as we can.
All International Postage:
Please make sure to give us both your phone number and email address, we need these details for your customs label. This makes it loads easier for the courier to contact you if there are any delays or if delivery is missed and you need to arrange another.
Our Pre-Order Policy:
When pre-ordering multiple items at once, please note that we will send this order when the final item arrives. At checkout, you will only be charged for one parcel. If you wish to have your items sent separately, as soon as each item arrives, please email us to arrange extra shipping. If you place another order, this will not effect your current pre-order and it will still ship when all the stock has arrived.
We aim to get any pre-order items in the post as soon after they arrive in-store as we can. Please allow 5 days before chasing us, for some titles we have over 200 pre-orders to pack and post.
Our Returns Policy:
The Distance Selling Regulations give you the right to cancel your order at any time, up to 14 days after you receive your goods. To cancel your order please let us know via email. In your email, please give us your name, order number and reasons for your return.
You must take care of the goods whilst they are in your possession and ensure that when they are kept in pristine condition. The goods must be returned in their original unopened packaging and perfect condition. You are required to return the items to us at your expense. We will then process your refund when your items are back with us in good condition.
If you receive your order and it arrives damaged. Please email us with photos of both the item and it’s packaging. We will then arrange replacements. We require damaged goods to be returned within 14 days also.
