Comics Are Gonna Be OK!
OK Comics will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC from 11am tomorrow! Monday 15th June!
Back to business as usual?
Nope. Unfortunately not quite yet.
In accordance with social distancing guidelines, we are limiting the amount of people we allow in the shop to ONE PERSON AT A TIME, and operating a policy of ONE IN, ONE OUT.
When you visit the shop you must ask a member of staff before entering. There may be a customer that you can’t see, in the shop already
Please be aware you may have to wait to access the shop.
So, if you are going to visit us, please allow sufficient time.
If you have to wait outside PLEASE FORM AN ORDERLY QUEUE LEAVING A DISTANCE OF TWO METRES from other visitors. Please leave enough space for people to exit.
If there are more than four people waiting, please walk away and come back later.
Do not block access to other businesses.
YOU MUST clean your hands before entering. USE THE HAND SANITISER PROVIDED.
When inside, only touch the items you intend to purchase.
We encourage all visitors to wear masks.
We are limiting customer visits to FIVE MINUTES PER PERSON.
All our staff are following all relevant health and safety guidelines and have all completed a Health and Social Care “Prevent Covid 19” course. Masks will be worn and there is a screen up at the main point of contact at the till.
Our new opening times will be from 11am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
We will be closed on Tuesday 23rd June.
We are still receiving new releases every two weeks. The next new comics and graphic novels are expected on Wednesday 24th June.
We reserve the right not to admit anybody who is unwilling to follow the guidelines or the instructions of staff.
The shelves are fully stocked.
If you haven’t had your comic order from us since the lockdown began, please get in to see us quick. We usually have a four week limit for customer orders. It’s been three months, but we haven’t cancelled anybody’s order yet.
We have new wall books; a small range of Absolute Editions, Omnibus Books, and Hardcovers at reduced prices; and some new OK Comics merchandise.
We’ve kept all the graphic novels from the last three months, on our new release shelves, and in our counter, so you can find them easily and quickly.
For anybody not wanting to visit us for any reason, OK Comics is still offering a full mail order service for any comics or books. And you can buy specially selected items from our online shop.
